Booking Process

After you have checked the availability of the DJs for your event date and spoken with us as to who can officially DJ for you, the official booking process can begin. The booking process requires 3 steps:

  1. A contract with deposit
  2. Filled out general event information sheet
  3. Wedding information sheet (obviously this only applies to weddings!)

You will find all relavent documents in the download section under "DJ Event Information Worksheets".

Since the contract and general information sheet are required for every gig, we bundled the two documents together. The contract is on the second page of the general event planner. Please fill this out and mail it in an envelope with the deposit check immediately. Your event will not be officially booked until the check has been cashed. Please read the contract carefully before signing.

The wedding information worksheet is important for wedding receptions. This document does not need to be returned to us immediately, and can be sent to us through email or snail mail. Whatever is most convenient for you. It is best if you can get this document to us at minimum of 30 days in advance of your event so that we have plenty of time to get new songs if you have requested them, and just to make sure that we have all the info we need. If we don't have all the info or can't get the music in time, it's always best to have some extra time to get things worked out!

Jones' KC Wedding

By Kim

Andy is a great guy and very laid back. I found him while searching the internet. He had great reviews and a very large selection of music. He kept the flow of the night going and was very attentive to our needs.
The moment I knew he was awesome -- our ceremony was outside in a field. And I didn't think there would be any way for us to have a microphone and speakers near the ceremony site. Andy found a generator and hooked it up to his car. He hauled the speakers across the field to the ceremony site and brought a wireless mic for us. If it hadn't been for the mic, the guests would not have heard anything. And we wrote our own vows so it was important to us for our guests to hear everything. He did this all without me even asking him to. He just read the situation and knew what to do. Andy made it all possible. Afterwards, he quickly moved all the equipment back to the tent for the reception and we were dancing in no time! ...
